Our TDR team sits within the Group Operations function and is responsible for mission-critical areas including cyber, information, data, privacy and resilience. The Role Responsibilities
• Be the subject matter expert responsible for the design, build, test and implement security solutions that meet the current and future needs of the organization.
• Design and create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
• Understand the technical infrastructure problems, challenges, and complexities that exist within each project work stream or area of a programme.
• Enhance the technical capabilities and ensure effective delivery of technical solutions across the programme to reduce cyber security risks to the bank by:
• Defining the solution design and architecture for each project under the programme in alignment with product roadmaps and overall architecture as defined by the service.
• Collaborate with the respective SCB Technology partners (e.g. platform, network & data centre teams, architecture and technology council teams, vendors, etc.) to design, build, test and gain sign-off of the proposed solution architecture in accordance to SCB s standards and policies.
• Document the solution architecture and transition the knowledge to BAU/Production Support teams.
• Define the technical requirements, definition of done, plan and design the solution including guiding the project managers to formulate a work breakdown structure that will achieve the project objectives and deliverables.
• Define the technical requirements, scoring criteria and conduct proofs-of-concept and evaluation of new products to determine the best technology to implement.
• Ensure documentation for deployed solutions meets SCB s standards & guidelines and obtain all required signoffs.
• Be the final escalation point for deep technical security issues.
• Manage and deal with technical as well as senior stakeholders, vendors, including peers from other departments.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
Our Ideal Candidate
Educational
• Bachelor Degree in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.
Technical Certifications
• Cyber Security Certifications from GIAC, EC Council, (ISC)2, etc.
• AWS and Microsoft certifications.
• Enterprise architecture certifications.
• Certifications that are relevant to network administration, Operating System administration, including database administration
• Scripting and Programming Certifications.
