Role Description
This role is for Senior Business Analyst responsible for managing business analysis for a multi-tier metadata management cloud system. The candidate is expected to work closely with the Platform Owner to oversee software solutions for the product and ensure good quality software is delivered.
The candidate should have a strong business analysis background and direct experience in one or all of the following, Metadata management, Data Governance, Data Management, Collibra, Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate needs to be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal guidance. Should be able to mentor junior resources in the team. Work closely with team members and vendor team to lay functional specifications for the software product and to define and own business roadmap for the product. Should have good communication skill and strong positive outlook.

Your key responsibilities
• Leading workshops to gather requirements. Ensuring requirements are well understood, agreed and signed-off
• Writing user stories in JIRA
• Working with team developers to ensure workflow developments are built as requested
• Participating in the metamodel design to support new requests
• Applying configuration changes within Collibra
• Conducting testing
• Creating Key Operating Procedures for new requests
• Driving the implementation and ensuring users are actively using new tools
• Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
• This role may very rarely require supporting SDLC activities during off-hours
Your skills and experience
Must have
• Strong experience in business analysis in the field of data governance, data management, metadata, cloud management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• System configuration experience, ideally Colibra
• Fluency in formulating functional specifications and business requirements
• Experience with Jira or similar tool in capturing user stories and defects
• Fully conversant with Agile software methodology
• Strong problem solving abilities and understanding the correct solution to a platform issue
• Good demonstrated experience with end users
Nice to have
• Exposure to data governance tools like Collibra, Alation, Informatica
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Catalog
• Experience in investment banking
