Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to guide our Field Crew and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with a level of craftsmanship we’re proud to stand behind. The ideal candidate has a wide range of trade skills, communicates well, and naturally leads by example.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a skilled laborer/carpenter across multiple trades
Proficiency with standard construction tools and equipment
Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety practices
Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on work
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to read blueprints and project plans
Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, office staff, and field crew
Strong delegation and workflow organization skills
Ability to train, mentor, and motivate crew members
Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent (additional trade certifications are a plus)
Positive attitude, respect for others, and pride in your work
Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime

Key Responsibilities
1. Motivate, Inspire, and Train
Foster a positive, professional job-site culture
Lead by example through strong work ethic and skilled craftsmanship
Plan, organize, and delegate daily tasks to crew members
Communicate with the office daily to keep clients and schedules updated
Maintain high standards of workmanship and job-site professionalism
Ensure safety for workers, clients, and subcontractors
Recommend corrective or supportive actions for crew members as needed
Collaborate on long-term scheduling, job scopes, and material needs
2. Construction Tasks
Perform and oversee skilled work including carpentry, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, painting, and general remodeling tasks
Assist with jobsite setup, tear-down, and daily organization
Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment
Work closely with team to ensure AHJ requirements are met and all projects meet deadlines and expectations
3. Quality Control
Ensure all work meets company standards and aligns with client expectations
Identify and resolve issues, defects, or rework needs promptly
Maintain a focus on precision, cleanliness, craftsmanship, and customer experience
4. Safety
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Ensure proper use of PPE and promote a culture of safety
Participate in safety meetings and required training sessions
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
