About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead CICS Systems Programmer to join our team at Wipro. This is a key position that will involve leading the installation, migration, maintenance, and support of CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in upgrading/installing CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products, as well as maintaining them by applying FIX packs periodically. They will also be responsible for installing and tuning processes and procedures for CICS webservices and CICSplex System manager, JVM Servers, and Angels stated tasks to ensure all CICS services and infrastructures meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading the installation, migration, maintenance, and support of CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products.
• Upgrading/installing CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products.
• Maintaining CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products by applying FIX packs periodically.
• Installing and tuning processes and procedures for CICS webservices and CICSplex System manager, JVM Servers, and Angels stated tasks.
• Ensuring all CICS services and infrastructures meet operational targets.
• Monitoring ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs.
• Supporting client systems for 24/7 on a rotational basis.
Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in CICS Systems Programming with a focus on installation, migration, maintenance, and support.
• Experience in upgrading/installing CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products.
• Ability to interpret and utilize assembler output listings.
• Working knowledge of z/OS Job Control Language (JCL).
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
