Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Network Security Engineer – Firewall Operations (L2)
Responsibilities
Operational Execution
Perform day-to-day firewall monitoring and administration.
Execute approved firewall rule changes.
Support NAT, routing, and policy configuration updates.
Validate firewall changes post-implementation.
Incident Handling
Investigate firewall-related connectivity or policy issues.
Escalate complex issues to Lead Engineer.
Document investigation findings and corrective actions in ITSM system.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain firewall operational runbooks.
Support preparation of compliance and audit documentation.
Provide operational inputs for monthly service reporting.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Palo Alto training preferred.
Experience in structured enterprise network operations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Good years of experience in enterprise firewall operations.
Hands-on experience with:
Palo Alto firewalls
Panorama
Firewall rule administration
Experience working within structured ITSM environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity and policy-related issues.
Good documentation and ticket hygiene discipline.
Database Certifications (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) are a plus if the role includes integration with databases.
