Overview:
The CTO for Risk, Finance & Treasury team works closely with the engineers and programmes in the domains within Group CIO, providing centralised oversight, standards and strategy. We lead the creation of clear and consistent roadmaps across the domains that align to a holistic strategic architecture that is consistent with the bank's goals and provide the enabling tools, standards and governance processes.
This role will be a lead data architect across the Treasury domain, which covers Securitisation, Liquidity Risk, and Risk in the Banking Book and partner with the Chief Data Office as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the execution of Data Strategy initiatives for the Division for visible business benefit
• Define and own data models for Treasury produced data or collaborate with owners of shared models to ensure they support Treasury requirements.
• Building strong relationships with the domain Divisional Data Officers, CTO and CIOs as their trusted partner.
• Collaborate with other divisions and the Chief Data Office to help define the data strategy for the bank
• Work directly with business and technology staff to remediate data issues, particularly where those issues span multiple functions and applications in the Bank.
• Guide the data improvements needed for commercial and regulatory activities defined by the Bank's Data Strategy.
• Leading and driving data strategy and governance across the division, aligned to the data strategy of the bank
• Strategic Initiatives involvement or coordination, starting with select strategic initiatives such as:
• Collaborating with wider RFT CTO team to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between Treasury and other functions.
• Engage with customer-facing divisions, operational teams, support and regulatory functions to ensure alignment with strategic architecture.
• Contribute to standards, policies, best architectural practise and the process to govern against these standards.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application/information models).
• Perform specific analysis/design efforts as needed and construct
