Primary skills Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead Data Modeler/Engineer who is proficient with Erwin Data Model tool.
• Build logical physical data models in Erwin
• Knows or has built DataVault models before.
• Understands existing Data Models,
• Design and write ETL Mapping specification with thorough understanding of grain and relationship of source and Target tables,
• Build SCD Type 2 mappings using Informatica Cloud IICS and or Powercenter.and/Or WhereScape or Erwin DataVault automation.
• Build Views in Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse.
• Lead and Coordinate and review work with 3 other Sr Data Engineers.
• Decide Test strategy for each build and test using ICEDQ Automated Testing Tool.
• The associate needs to be familiar with agile development practice and needs to work with BSA, TSS, QA analyst and/or scrum master/Project Managers to define development goals on every 3-week basis.
• The developer needs to update his/her development status to the team and in Jira on daily basis and discuss issues/risks/blocks with the team and proactively seek help to resolve those and commit to the development goals
• The developer needs to be practitioner/expert in SQL and Informatica and or IICS ETL mapping design and development, follows best practices for coding and performance tuning and test-driven iterative development approach.
• The developer needs to be able to understand the logical mapping and data models provided and design and develop ETL mappings as per available patterns.
• The developer also needs to understand DevOps framework and use it to deploy code to production faster in an automated & repeatable way.
