As a Lead Data Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Generates data models for their team using firmwide tooling, linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms
Delivers data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way
Implements database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy
Evaluates and reports on access control processes to determine effectiveness of data asset security with minimal supervision
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong operational & admin knowledge on Linux OS & its trouble shooting.
SAP HANA Database Administrator with 10+ Years of experience in Database admin area.
Administration Using SAP HANA DB Studio
Monitoring & Alerting HANA Database errors, KPIs via HANA Studio /DBA Cockpit
Diagnosis of problems and resolution for HANA software
SAP HANA Database backup and recovery ; SAP HANA Database performance tuning and Optimization
Database migration from RDBMS to HANA Database
Hands on experience in setting up HA & DR for HANA
Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
HANA DB 2.0 multitenant DB replication set up n troubleshooting
HANA 2.0 DB trace n log file locations (Architecture basics).
Preferredqualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with backup tools such as Cohesity will be an added advantage
Advanced - DSO, Delta-merge operations , session tracing , ini files parameter updates etc.
Hands on experience with hdbsql, configuring and updating HDB data store, querying Hana system views etc.
