About DS/AI Competency Center:
Focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI powered solutions. Utilizes Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance. Delivers business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools.
Tasks:
The person we are looking for will become part of Data Science & Optimization Team working within DS&AI competency.
• Person will be responsible for delivering projects, from POCs to scaling up existing solutions, mostly in Supply Chain area for Top500 FMCG companies. Duties include:
• Business understanding, Data understanding/preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment of solutions – following CRISP-DM methodologies.
• Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plan, data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, transforming findings into tasks,
• Know-how and experience from projects in Supply Chain area, or optimization projects is a plus.
• (nice-to-have) Proactive approach for areas where improvement is needed, like suggestions of improving existing pipelines (tests, support, and improvements)
• Following of standards to improve competency quality.
Requirements:
Must Have:
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong Python coding skills, including using ML libraries.
• Experience with Data Analysis, Data Mining, Statistics, Optimization methods, Data Science projects.
• Understanding and experience in applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain area (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory or Sustainability)
• Experience working in cloud technologies – GCP (MS Azure is a plus)
• Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery.
• Experience in working with Agile project (like Scrum, Kanban) using JIRA, ADO.
• Experience in working with client-facing role.
• Able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendation how to solve problems of diverse scope.
• Great communication skills.
Nice to have:
• Other programming languages knowledge like: R, SQL
• Supply Chain business acumen and background gained in FMCG companies.
• Good understanding of Google technologies (Microsoft technologies is a plus)
• Strong statistical/mathematical background – understanding of the math behind ML methods.
• Good understanding and experience in operationalization of models using VMs.
• Experience in working in matrix organization.
• Knowledge about relational databases.
