Job Description: Job Title -Lead Database Administration The Purpose of This Role: Personal and Workplace Investing (PWI) helps millions of people save and invest through individual retail accounts and workplace savings plans. PWI builds lifetime relationships with customers and provides employers with costeffective, integrated employee benefit solutions. The company serves customers online, over the phone, and through a nationwide network of investor centers. PWI administered over $1.5 trillion in customer assets. The PWI PSS PI Database Administration Support group provides database services related to the Oracle infrastructure for multiple client facing applications. Production Support which includes 712 oncall support, Database Infrastructure Support, performance monitoring, 1st level performance troubleshooting, Risk/Audit compliance and Non-Prod database refreshes. Database and Oracle Application Maintenance includes Oracle Database upgrades, Database reorganizations, Security Patching, Application Upgrades. Primary Responsibilities . Install and configure new MS SQL Servers 2016. . Manage environment on SQL MI, MySQL, Postgres on Azure . Manage Devops Deployment pipelines . Day to day support of multiple MS SQL Server (Production & Non-production) . Incident resolution & plan and deploy database changes . High Availability and Disaster Recovery setup experience with MS SQL Server . Able to provide basic level support on SAP Sybase 15.7 administration . Ready to work in afternoon shift of 11am to 8pm . Participation in production On-Call(127) on rotation The Skills that are Key to this role . Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or higher version on Windows 2012 administration . Knowledge of MS SQL Server backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication. . Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools . Knowledge of SQL Server tools ( Profiler, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, SSIS, SSRS & System procs) . Working knowledge on SAP Sybase 15.7 ASE administration would be preferred . Excellent problem analysis and creative solution-building skills . Strong technical, teamwork and partnering skills . Willingness to learn other RDBMS - PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL .
