Job ResponsibilitiesMust have working knowledge of any or all of these database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDBInstall and configure Database software on different Operating systems.Hands-On knowledge of Configuring the Database Servers as per the best practice and Workloads.Effectively setup the Backup policies for the database server as per the RPO.Efficiently build a recovery model as per the RTO.Configure Security for databases (from Os level, Database, Network).Fine-tune the Hardware/VM for better performance.Setup replication (Master-Slave/Master-Master/Log shipping/Mirroring/Alwayson)Automate the daily DBA tasks using Shell/PowerShell/Python/GO.Knowledge of writing SQL queries (General queries).Setup monitoring for Databases (OS and Database level) with custom scripts or any third-party monitoring tool. It’s a bonus if you have: Basic Cloud platform knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure) Basic Performance tuning (database and Server Level) ETL – (script based or using third party tool).
