Job Description
We are seeking for a stromg lead developer from a computer science background or an experience software professionals to become capable game engineers by inculcating required skillsets and creative abilities in them. He will be deeply involved with each of the trainees so as to gauge their best potentials and provide them the right direction.
Requirements
Essential Skills
Familiarity with complete game production pipeline
Hands on experience in C++ of 6 years or more
Working experience of 3 years or more with software solutions involving either human capital interface/medical/hardware based user interaction devices/software development or experience in c++ followed by mobile gaming.
Solid understanding of 3d Math & Physics concepts such as Vector, Coordinate Systems etc.
Solid understanding of data structures, OOPS concepts, algorithms, STL, memory management and multi-threading.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Skills
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application / Computer Science is highly desirable
Shipped 2 or more game titles or other applications over unreal engine
Past experience of teaching or mentorship for a batch of 30 or more
Experience of production environment of 3 years or more
Experience with AAA console game development
Strong knowledge of rendering pipeline & shader
Responsibilities
Majour focus would be the team building and knowledge transfer during the first year and from 2nd year onwards, the person would be a part of the production team and also responsible for the
Teach full-time courses in video game programming
Conceptualise, research and develop training material for courses
Teach programming concepts, algorithms and coding in a fun and engaging way.
Evaluate the students' progress through class quizzes, periodical tests and assignments.
Handle classroom management and administration duties
Evaluate the students' progress through class quizzes, periodical tests and assignments.
Provide stakeholders regular updates regarding the same.
Manage student expectations and address student motivation and performance issues, as necessary.
Participate in discussions and feedback sessions with stakeholders to continually improve the courses.
