Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented tech savvy tech lead to join a high performing technology team to roll out digital payments solution for SCB customers. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has previously experience in end-to-end software development using Agile methodologies and must have high proficiency in the latest technologies adapted in the industry
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Good exposure to banking domain and banking products in terms of clear understanding of product architecture, product design and Configuration/parameters required to change to accommodate requests for customization.
Responsible for managing the design & development for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects.
Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium sized projects of high complexity.
Requires sound technical knowledge combined with reasonable understanding of business issues. Has the ability to correlate technical issues with business environment.
Advanced project and people management skills are required.
Driving quality initiatives like introduction of automated tools for improving productivity, reducing human errors, etc
Contributing towards product evolvement and knowledge management
Contributing to process improvement and ensure process compliance
Track and monitor work so as to ensure delivery of team output in line with schedule and quality norms
Ensuring proper resource management such as recruitment, adequate training, career moulding
Attract right talent and build in appropriate measures to retain them
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the business strategy and model appropriate to the role
Business
Awareness and understanding of Retail business, the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

Awareness and understanding of Agile s/w development process, change and release management process

QUALIFICATIONS
TRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Banking Domain Knowledge is preferable
Experience in the software development using Agile methodologies
Knowledge & Experience in practising Agile & Lean framework
Knowledge & Experience in the API & Microservices
Hands on experience in microservices design and development using Spring boot,KONG API Gateway,Apache tomcat,Java, JSON API, Oracle/Postgres and Openshift cloud.
Should have strong knowledge in Design principles for both Server side and front end.
Nice to have an experience on UI stack such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (es6),Ember,ReactJS,Cordova,Gulp / Grunt, GraphQL ,JQuery, ,bootstrap, compass, Browserstack, handlebars, Sass, cordova , Mobile hybrid development.
Advocate delivery excellence, minimising delivery risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development.
Conduct continuous development and/or integration & testing.
Knowledge in Integration technologies – MQ, Kafka, Solace
Knowledge / Experience in Container platform and Cloud technologies
Knowledge in DevOps & SRE
Experiences with relational databases and NOSQL databases
More than 10+ years’ experience in software development domain.
