Roles & Responsibilities
Establish processes for efficient production support including processes like incident management, change management, etc.
Identify, assess and implement necessary tools for running
Establish culture of collaboration and smooth communication between engineering and operations teams
Drive efficiencies through automation of operations. Enable vision of Infrastructure as a Code
Implement security controls and ensure security of infrastructure and product
Define service levels, implement dashboard/reports and meet/exceed the service quality
Bring industry best practices and innovation to deliver high performing environment and to run it efficiently
Faster value to market - Implement CI/CD pipeline
Ensure high level of security in the environment by designing and implementing necessary security controls
Contribute to meet necessary compliances like SOC/PCI-DSS
Build team to deliver the Dev Ops/operations support responsibility - design, hire, induct, develop
Ideal Candidate
About 7+ years of experience in setting up Dev Ops and Production support
Experience of supporting infrastructure like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Aurora Database, setting up network (VPN), etc.
Experience of support SaaS/Microservices based applications
Knowledge and experience of working with tools involved in setting up production support and Dev Ops
Experience in setting up IaaS using Terraform
Experience in building CI/CD pipeline using orchestration tools like Jenkins and scripts like Groovy
Experience in Configuration Management, Metering & Monitoring using tools like Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana
Experience in managing releases and repositories like Git Hub.
Experience in implementing security controls and ensuring secured environment
Should be great team player, assertive to voice opinions
Good academic pedigree and should love continuous learning
