Job Description
Location: Overland Park, Ann Arbor, Houston, Phoenix, Raleigh, Chattanooga, Chicago, Jacksonville or Gaithersburg.
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Must haves:
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required.
Power generation design industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
AGI experience is not required but preferred. Candidate will be using Bentley Microstation primarily
Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Lead Electrical Engineering Technician Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Drafting or an engineering design–related technology (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering design–related technology (preferred)
Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience with 3D modeling of electrical equipment and systems
Hands on experience in duct bank design, cable tray design, grounding, and electrical layout
Strong proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and Bentley design tools
Experience supporting Advanced Power Generation (APG) or similar complex infrastructure projects
Ability to function as a lead technician or technical design specialist
Experience coordinating and reviewing multidisciplinary design deliverables
Working knowledge of project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance procedures
AGI32 lighting design experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work onsite at one approved location (location must be specified)
