Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems within the hospital, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of hospital facilities.
• Provide technical expertise and support for electrical projects.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Industry recognised qualification/apprenticeship.
• Relevant experience to professional level or equivalent training and experience.
• ‘Authorised person’ title for all matters relating to electrical maintenance.
• City and Guilds Part 2, NVQ Level 3 or other recognised qualification.
• Accredited Health & Safety training course.
• Relevant experience post qualification within a commercial environment.
• Substantial post training experience across engineering, mechanical, heating, and plumbing trades and experience of installation works and fault finding.
• Experience working in a reactive and pressurised environment.
• Experience understanding surveys and audits (e.g condition surveys).

Working Pattern:
• 4 days on, 4 days off rota on a repeating eight-week schedule.
• Shift pattern is 7am – 6pm.
