Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as a Planning Engineer This role will be based at our Atkins office in Gurgaon, IN.
How will you contribute to the team
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Expert in Project Planning and Scheduling knowledge and excellent in relevant planning tool
• Monitoring all major project milestones & support every team to keep their focus on 'On Time' delivery.
• Handling team of Planning Engineers and focusing on their regular development and growth
• Participating in all Collaboration meeting with different sites, client, and other sub-contractors to discuss and highlight the key issues for all programs
• Identify bottleneck areas and raise early warning to team and Management
• Assist & Guide team in preparing of Baseline Schedule ,Critical Path Report , S Curve , Earned Value Report , dashboards , weekly and monthly reports to the client
• Bring and develop new ideas of working and supporting client in different planning and scheduling domain.
• Understand the risk on deliveries and support team to mitigate and close the risk as early as possible.
• Managing Changes in Project and effectively preparing the delay analysis report.
• Maintain the coordination between all stakeholders and keep them on same page to achieve planning goals.
• Setting up process flows and implement the best standards in practice
• Be more Proactive in handling team issues and maintain the healthy team spirit in personal and professional way.
• Review and sign off on all deliverables prior to submission to owner & client
• Experience is UK Transportation, Infrastructure, Electrical & Mechanical preferredKnowledge of NEC contract
