Job Requirements
• Develop an integrated scheme design that meets the customer's needs.
• Knowledge of Lifecycle Management of HVDC equipment from preparation of specification to delivery of equipment to site after witnessing all tests.
• Knowledge in Vendor/Supplier Management
• Knowledge in RAM studies
• Knowledge in Power system studies and analysis ( Insulation coordination, Network, Harmonic & Dynamic/Transient)
• Knowledge on HVDC network.
• Knowledge in Engineering process, quality procedure and work instruction
Work Experience
• 6 to 10 years of experience.
• HVDC substation analysis and compliance to regulations
• Knowledge of supplier qualification, Offer review, Tender analysis & SDR
• Knowledge of verifying and validating RAMS models for HVDC systems and sub-systems
• Knowledge in PSCAD & PowerFactory Digsilent (or Equivalent)
• RAM studies software Reliasoft - BlockSIM (or Equivalent)
