Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Java technical lead to be responsible for providing solutions for technical issues which may affect product delivery. The Java technical lead will facilitate requirement analyses, conduct peer reviews and provide feedback, and enhance frameworks. To be successful as a Java technical lead, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Java technologies. Ultimately, a top-notch Java technical lead should have good analytical skills, the ability to anticipate issues and frame remedial actions, and excellent teamwork skills. Responsibilities : - Participate in architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support. - Participates in physical design and development planning meetings to help determine the best solution to accommodate the business need. - Partner with entire technical team to determine systems planning, scheduling and implementation timeline to ensure the appropriate timing is set to ensure the project can be completed in scheduled time. - Understands and develops software to support technical specifications for software. - Uses technical knowledge of standard development concepts, practices and procedures. - Writes, develops and continuously unit tests software that meet the needs of the design specifications. - Create and review technical specifications and test plans. - Performs functional testing of software to ensure software is performing appropriately and at optimal level. - Identifies and escalates issues that impact project performance. Requirements/Skills : - Gather input and requirements from the Product Management team (PM) - You will continuously think about ways of increasing operations efficiency and product quality. - You are also to follow scrum and agile methodologies. - This role requires that you are adaptable and flexible in changes of requirements, and highly responsive to critical production issues providing timely and effective solutions to internal and external stakeholders. - Hands-on experience with Web services design, implementation, and integration with legacy system - Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment is a must. Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field required.
