Project and Requirements (Required)
The PeopleSoft Security Administrator is responsible for managing application security across ERP environments, with a focus on designing, maintaining, and optimizing a robust and scalable security model within PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM.
This model must support current audit and compliance requirements while enabling flexibility for future growth, new modules, and evolving business needs.
This role requires in-depth expertise in PeopleSoft dynamic security models, route controls, chart field security, workflow approvals, user preferences, custom permission lists/roles, and query security trees.
Responsibilities may also include tasks related to installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of technical ERP components across web, application, integration, and batch tiers.
Scripting and automation (SQL, Shell, etc.) will be necessary.
The administrator will collaborate with management, functional and development teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to support project delivery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
Additional expectations include participation in patching, upgrades, production releases, and potential on-call rotation.
After-hours work may be required to maintain system uptime, address alerts, and support business continuity.
Role and Responsibilities of the Resource Request (Required)
• Maintain and administer the existing ERP security model to support business rules and individual security requests.
• Participate in internal/external audit activities related to PeopleSoft security.
• Review, update, and maintain documentation for the current security model.
• Support audit responses as needed for PeopleSoft security inquiries.
• Collaborate with DBA, App Sysadmin, development, and functional teams on project tasks, including troubleshooting, tuning, scripting, system refreshes, security object design, report/query creation, and configuration support.
Scheduled Milestones and Deliverables (Required)
Daily
• Review security-related notifications and analyze application logs for errors.
• Coordinate with the security team to identify required actions.
• Support functional/development teams with security troubleshooting.
• Assist end users through Help Desk ticket support as appropriate.
As Needed
• Partner with functional and development teams to design new or updated security requirements.
• Review and enhance existing documentation, recommending automation or improvements that strengthen the security model.
Performance Metrics (Required)
• Completion and resolution rate of Service Manager tickets
• Team status review participation and progress reporting
