What You'll Be Doing
Leading all estimating efforts for Division * scopes, drywall, framing, ACT, paint, and specialty finishes
Pricing a diverse project mix including commercial interiors, tenant improvements, federal and state government projects and multi-unit residential
Performing complete takeoffs and preparing detailed, competitive bids from plans, specs, and addenda
Identifying scope gaps, risks, and coordination issues early in the review process
Soliciting and leveling sub and vendor pricing to build tight, defensible numbers
Helping establish pricing standards, bid strategies, and estimating procedures company-wide
Coordinating closely with project management at handoff to ensure a clean transition after award
Mentoring and supporting a junior estimator as the team continues to grow
What We're Looking For
Proven experience estimating Division * commercial and/or government projects; this is a must
Hands-on understanding of how finishes are sequenced and built in the field
Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural drawings, project specs, and addenda
Familiarity with government bid requirements, including prevailing wage and certified payroll considerations, is a plus
Organized, decisive, and capable of managing multiple bids simultaneously without dropping the ball
Self-directed, you don't need someone looking over your shoulder

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
