They are currently seeking an experienced, innovative Lead Farmhand to join their supportive team.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for you to oversee the practical execution of the broader cropping program including:
liaising with agronomists
operating machinery
maintaining machinery
seeding
spraying
hay
harvest
flood irrigation
You would be the trusted right hand and a key part of the team.

What you will bring:
Minimum 5 years - experience in broadacre farming systems
An in-depth knowledge of cropping and how crops grow
Extensive experience operating large machinery including seeders, harvesters and self-propelled sprayers
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
The ability to manage priorities and work with autonomy
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team
An interest in regional living and contributing to the local community
An interest in using modern farm technology, with a willingness to work with multiple farm apps and digital systems
A ChemCert and current driver’s licence are required.
