Job Title- Lead FINREG Analyst
Location- Mumbai, India
Role Description
This role is to support CB Business Finance teams supporting Securities Services and Trade Finance business globally including UK and Germany regions primarily. GTB BF team guides the GTB Business to effectively manage expectations in terms of revenue forecast, closing monthly books and ensures delivery of agreed outputs with utmost accuracy.
This new role is expected to take up responsibilities for:
Revenue Flash for CB EMEA Month-end close for Security Services Month end close for Trade, Lending
Requires good understanding of accounting principles, P&L, balance sheet especially in relation to Corporate Banking business. Needs to understand impact of commercial aspects of business drivers on the financials, ability to perform trend analysis and articulate the same to management.

Your key responsibilities
For the Security Services, Germany:
Finalize monthly revenue and P&L including accounting for business transactions, e.g. revenue bookings, break resolutions between entities, sub-ledgers or systems. Prepare revenue flash & actual and provide analysis w.r.t. business drivers. Perform Substantiation of Balance Sheet accounts as Primary/Secondary account owners Other ME tasks such as FX sell-off, V&C packs, Balance Sheet monitoring, Transfer Pricing, Disclosures
Global Revenue Flash process enhancements:
Improve Control processes around Flash, Business Driver and P&L Explains
Track episodic, cyclical/seasonal components of revenue – analyze revenues in detail with respect to balance sheet and improve engagement with business and entity finance to help bring flash closer to actuals.
Get better understanding of Treasury charges – the numbers fluctuate widely MoM and needs better engagement with TSY FDs to improve understanding of drivers, align expectations and manage a lower flash v actual variance
For the Credit Solutions, daily PNL process
Perform daily P&L reporting as well as ME close activities – these are currently “arms & legs” activities sitting with other teams.Tasks include P&L production, DART uploads, ME journals, Balance Sheet substantiation and Quarterly disclosures)
IFRS+ BOW
Resourcing is required to support incremental effort to support a whole range of activities including HTC&S and PRI adjustments in ledger / FDW.
Your skills and experience
CA, CFA or MBA in Finance with minimum 1-2 yrs of experience.
Financial Markets or Global Transaction Banking experience preferred
Good Accounting and Analytical skills
Advanced user of MS Office
Good verbal and written communication skills
Education & Cerification

Strong analytical / problem-solving skills
Well organized & able to clearly present results of work
