Scope of Work:
We’re looking to connect with experienced Lead Fluid Mechanics Engineers who can offer ad‑hoc, project‑specific expertise. Engagement can be via Limited Company or PAYE on a zero‑hour basis. While immediate work may not be available, we’re keen to build a pipeline of interested specialists for future support
Key Requirements:
Produce high quality deliverables to clients, meeting time and cost targets.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and bids for new work scopes.
Experience of CFD modelling safety studies using STAR-CCM+, FLACS or similar.
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
Desirable: experience in the energy industry and/or consultancy setting.
Required: CFD experience in gas dispersion, fire or blast modelling, exhaust dispersion modelling.
Master’s Degree (MEng or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related discipline
