As a Lead Software Engineer, who reports to the Manager, Software Engineer Integration Services Manager, you will play a key role in developing consumer-facing promotional campaign sites with responsive, flexible front-ends which are supported across multiple devices. You will work closely with the Account Management and Quality Assurance group to ensure that functionality is delivered and meets the requirements. You will also collaborate with the back-end developers to create a seamless and efficient interface between the UI and the custom APIs. The creation of shared success will occur while working through routine tasks as well as any challenges and complexities that may arise while managing competing priorities.
Position Overview
• Manage priorities of projects while working with moving deadlines
• Team up with designers, engineers, and managers to meet project requirements
• Translate creative files with down-to-the-pixel perfection with clean, self documenting code
• Refactor and optimize existing code
• Promotes and performs code reviews
• Contribute to the knowledge base
• Pitch in where needed as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
• Stay at the forefront of technology advances and trends in web development while responding to the ever-changing needs of our clients
• Mentor junior members
Job Qualifications
• 10+ Years of experience in UI Development
• Technologies: ReactJS, Redux, React Hooks, JavaScript, Jquery, CSS3/SASS/SCSS ,HTML
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• High attention to detail with down to the pixel perfection
• Proven perseverance to carry a set of software deliverables from requirements to completion
• Experience in any UI unit test framework
• Ability to work independently as well as cohesively as part of a team to accomplish goals
• Desire and eagerness to further develop your skill set and mentor peers
• Experience with Typescript is a plus
