We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer specializing in localization of SaaS platforms. This role will report into the Head of Engineering and will be crucial in shaping the future of climate-tech SaaS products.
In this role you will:
Be 100% hands-on role to design,build and test SaaS platform on MERN Stack using typescript.
Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
Build customer-facing UI features for climate tech solutions for enterprises.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Build customer-facing UI and back-end services for climate tech solutions for enterprises.
Identify and extract localizable content.
Integrate localisation of content using a localization platform.
Establish localization workflows and facilitate integration of localization tools with different source content repositories
Review and anticipate potential globalization issues for new features, locales and technology
Analysis of web sites and applications for localization potential and time/material requirements
Ensure compliance with clients requirements and integrity of data
Learn how to fund, grow and operate successful startups
Design and architect innovative, modern architectures
Lead the technical development for large areas of a product
Support and mentor junior engineers
Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.
Demonstrate and communicate a passion for implementing maximum speed, highly scalable, and maintainable front-end services
Share technical solutions and product ideas through design review, pair programming, code review, and technical discussions.
You should have:
Previous working experience as a frontend(react.js) Developer for 5-8 years and leading the front-end, back-end and full-stack development teams in a SaaS company.
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Previous working experience as a Node.js, Python Developer for 5 - 8 years
Strong experience with TypeScript or JavaScript ecosystem
Deep competence in integrating with any localisation tools.
Deep competence in setting up localisation workflows for a SaaS platform.
Experience in launching localized platform to new markets.
Experience in translation vendor and stakeholder management.
Solid knowledge of REST API design
Solid knowledge of testing principles, from unit tests integration to end-to-end, when and where to use
Understanding of technology from both frontend and backend perspective
Strong experience with modern hooks based react and beyond redux state management
Good product and design sense, working with designers and product owners to build the proper interface
Experience using SQL databases and ideally ORM solutions
Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
Experience with DevOps like roles, understanding Terraform and CI/CD practices
Ideally experience with Azure, Mongo database and Auth0
Ideally, experience with visualization libraries like D3
Ideally, experience with headless testing using tools like Cypress
Experience working in lean teams, building and learning as we go
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in communicating technical concepts to a variety of audiences
