Responsibilities
During the summer it is common to have all 12 rooms in use on a single night
Turnover of at least a few rooms should be expected daily
Our ideal candidate would be able to work at least 40 hours per week, sometimes more if we have a lot going on that week
Daily tasks will include cleaning rooms, checking and preparing rooms scheduled to be used the current day, daily cleaning of common areas to include 2 lobby bathrooms, main stairway, and entry ways, all hotel laundry, general maintenance and repairs, coordinating with GM for major repairs or maintenance issues, assisting with hotel functions and events as needed including set-up and tear down, other duties as assigned by the GM
During off hours you can relax in privacy in the staff quarters or explore the local area
You will have a private bedroom to yourself

Howdy! We are looking for an experienced Lead Housekeeper to join our team for the busy summer season. Dates are flexible but ideally would be approximately May through October. We can certainly work with you regarding taking time off if you have a trip or event planned. (However, we would need to know well in advance.)
We are a very small operation in a very small community. The hotel has 12 guest rooms, common areas include a dining room, parlor, and lobby area along with outdoor space on our deck and porch. During the summer it is common to have all 12 rooms in use on a single night. Turnover of at least a few rooms should be expected daily.
Our ideal candidate would be able to work at least 40 hours per week, sometimes more if we have a lot going on that week. Daily tasks will include cleaning rooms, checking and preparing rooms scheduled to be used the current day, daily cleaning of common areas to include 2 lobby bathrooms, main stairway, and entry ways, all hotel laundry, general maintenance and repairs, coordinating with GM for major repairs or maintenance issues, assisting with hotel functions and events as needed including set-up and tear down, other duties as assigned by the GM. During off hours you can relax in privacy in the staff quarters or explore the local area. You will have a private bedroom to yourself. The house has Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, private outdoor sitting area, full kitchen, and wildlife viewing. It's possible we will have other part time employees staying in the other bedrooms and therefore sharing the common areas.
On your days off....You will never want to leave this beautiful place! ;) However, should you want to enjoy a day out, Laramie is under an hour away. It's home to the University, a nice big Walmart, and much more. Saratoga is a fun day trip about 45 minutes away and has natural mineral hot springs, restaurants and bars, and tourist activities.
