Boeing ecommerce team is currently looking for two Lead Hybris Developer to join their team in Bangalore, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) IT organization. The selected individual will work in the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) in Bangalore, India. As a Lead or Consultant or Senior* SAP Hybris developer, the selected individual will work with the Boeing India teams and its partners and stakeholders to develop, maintain and improve the ecommerce applications.

Position Responsibilities:
• The selected candidate for this position will work on development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications that are used to offer various parts, products and services to Business Regional & General Aviation (BRGA) as well as Commercial Airline (CA) customers across the world. This position involves working closely with other development / support teams in India, US and other locations. The selected individual will be a part of the engineering and technology team in Boeing India.
• As a lead SAP Hyris developer, the selected individual will be highly skilled, professional engineer and would work (architectural solution, design, develop / test & support ecommerce applications) collaboratively with international teams comprising of software development, product management & business analysts and play a key role in ensuring BGS ecommerce applications are competitive in the market
• Selected candidate should have proven ability to produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient designs using data driven architecture with technologies such as SAP Hybris, JAVA / J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Angular, Azure etc. Has good understanding of load balancing, authentication and fault tolerance through Tomcat application server, Apache webserver and F5 load balancer & CDN
• Should have experience in Software Engineering Domain with evidence of thorough understanding of requirements to solve problems and actively participates in software development.
• Own software design and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoots issues with the ecommerce applications and provides resolutions (including DevSecOps stack issues). Coordinates with teams to resolve complex issues related to processes, methods, tools and standards
• Creates and maintain necessary software documentation (architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs, etc.)
• Keep track and actively reduce technical debts (hardening the software) while working with other developers / leads / architects / SM / PO / etc.
• The selected individual would need to work in close cooperation and actively aligns with the technical roadmap, interaction design, development and testing with similar teams based in USA or other regions
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsible for maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
• Should have demonstrated ability to work in SAFE AGILE environment
• Demonstrated ability to create positive impact on customer by developing polished, cohesive, effective, and user friendly web applications for large and complex aviation related systems
• Experience in understanding and interacting with multiple data formats. Ability to rapidly learn and understand software from source code.
• Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners.
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
• Extensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/Story creation as well as solution design and architecture.
• Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to earn trust, persuade, motivate and mentor other team members. To be effective, this person must earn the respect of the Scrum teams, Scrum Masters, Technical Architect, Release Train Manager, Business teams, customers and all other different stakeholders.
• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, strong analytical and creative problem solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Ability to independently execute & deliver on the backlog without dependency or hand-holding.
• Should be an Excellent team player. Works in an Agile Scrum team following the best practices on Software Craftsmanship such as Test-driven development, Code Refactoring, and Pair Programming/Peer Reviews.
• Work in close cooperation - actively aligns the technical roadmap, APIs and Interaction Design, with teams based in US.
• Mentors junior team members on technical aspects. The selected individual will also be responsible to provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets and be a sought-after expert that other developers can benefit from.
• This position provides periodic updates to Boeing India management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents.This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world.
• This position will support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, customer engagement, etc.
• The selected individual will research & provide recommendations on new technologies / trends, best practices to improve the product development activities
• This position would require the selected candidates to learn and work on new as well as multiple tools / skills/ roles
• Effort distribution – development (50%), maintenance / support (50%). However, this can change in future
• Travel domestically and internationally as required
• Selected candidates might have to work in shift hours (morning, general or night).

Basic Qualification (Required Skills / Experience)
• Must have experience with SAP Hybris, Spring Framework, Docker Containers, Kubernetes, REST & SOAP based Web Services and SOA, MySQL, PostGres SQL, and any other relational databases,.
• Experience with SOA including Micro services based architecture.
• Hands on knowledge in the Architecting, Designing and Developing full stack modules and components for web applications.
• This position is for a full stack senior developer who has excellent programming skills in the latest tools & technology frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud-based managed services (DB, Error Logging, etc of various types) etc.
• Experience in automated test environments/TDD/JUNIT is essential.
• Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java and UML. Must have experience using Software Design Patterns, Standards and Best Practices within the industry. Experience with Frameworks such as TOGAF, Enterprise Information Architecture, Enterprise Architecture Frameworks is preferable.
• Proven ability to produce scalable, flexible, robust and efficient designs for ecommerce applications using data driven architecture with technologies such as SAP Hybris, JAVA / J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, ReactJS / AngularJS, AWS / Azure etc…
• Experience in performance tuning of SAP Hybris applications and provide guidelines for developers in writing high performance code.
• Experience in providing secure coding guidelines for developers.
• Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace
• Experience in successfully developing, testing (including unit test automation) and deploying (including deployment automation) of SAP Hybris & J2EE applications. Understanding of load balancing, authentication and fault tolerance through Tomcat application server, Apache webserver and F5 load balancer & CDN
• Hands on experience in understanding complex eCommerce challenges / problems and provide innovative solutions & design to solve them. One should be able to pass on solutions / design to junior team members while fascinating them in delivering complex deliverables
• Good working knowledge with minimum 6 or more implementations of Hybris modules – Search & Navigation, Account Management, Promotions & Vouchers, Payment Integrations, Catalog / Content Management, SAP Integrations, Mobility
• Good working knowledge on integrations such as payment (Pay metrics), SAP, OpenText, web services, etc
• Good exposure towards test-driven development while using the industry best practices with an ability to write new test suites and enhance current test suite using selenium
• Experience in best practices and tools around CI/CD
• Experience in Agile / Scrum based software development methodology
• Nice to have skills around public cloud AWS & Azure and cloud based development
• Architecture, design & develop full stack modules and components for eCommerce applications
• Effective in resolving problems and roadblocks by consistently following through on details while driving Innovation as well as issue resolution

• Monitor the implementation of architecture throughout the system development lifecycle and seek and provide clarification when needed.
• Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners, across different cultures and time-zones.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of development engineers, QA/Testing, Build, and Project Management.
• Experience in the following areas would be preferred –
• Familiarity with usage of Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Cloud based development (using Azure)
• Familiarity with using SAP ECC or other ERP application
• Awareness SAP PI / EDI based integrations
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Akamai
• ITIL practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, applied mathematics or engineering is required and Master’s degree would be preferred.
• Minimum of 13 to 16 years of experience with software development and support of ecommerce applications (SAP Hybris / J2EE) with minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP Hybris
• Candidates with SAP Hybris, Java / J2EE and TOGAF certifications would be preferred
• Candidates with Aviation related application development background would be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in SAFe Agile methodologies would be preferred
