The Role : Software Engineer/ Sr. Software Development
The Team : Equity Book Build (EBB) builds a platform for investment banks and financial investors to create, manage and communicate deal terms along with providing order/book management between Banks and Investors.
The Impact: This is a developer(senior) position that will involve hands-on development build /execution role in the financial domain.

Responsibilities:
• You will actively analyse, design dot net based complex applications based on business needs.
• You will be responsible for integrating content and implementing functionality based on requirement specifications by leading a team or on individual basis.
• You will collaborate with lines of business units vendor partners, technical implementation teams (Development, QA and Infrastructure) to balance the complexities of technical implementation against business requirements.
• You will contribute to the technical roadmap of an application.
• Experience and good understanding of Agile development and delivery process.
• Experience of working in a data intensive environment.
• Familiarity/experience with the financial services industry.
What We are Looking For: An individual (Senior Developer) who is
• A technical graduate / Postgraduate
• Must have 8+ years hands on experience and excellent knowledge of C#, .net core, Web Services, REST APIs, ORM.
• Hands on experience and good knowledge of C++ with templating.
• Excellent knowledge of MS-SQL and or any other relational DB, writing complex queries, DDL and DMLs.
• Must have hands and good understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID patterns.
• Should have good knowledge of Design stable, reliable and effective databases along with Optimize and maintain legacy systems.
• Good to have Design and development experience on building real time applications, microservices and cloud-based application architecture.
• Good to Have experience on application containerization and deployment process.
• Must Have Experience in using GIT as source repository.
• Proficient with Unit Test tools, Source Control and Task/ Bug Management like JIRA/Azure Boards
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to project priorities and processes and ability to meet deadlines.
• Work closely with development and project team members globally to deliver high quality solutions to aggressive time frames.
• Communication – Fluent in English speaking and writing
What would be advantageous:
• Understanding and hands on Angular6+, HTML5 and CSS.
