About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for Mainframe CICS Systems Engineering role
In this role, you will:
• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
• Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery
• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security secrets management and key rotations
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
• Design complex system upgrades
• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
• Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, International:
• Experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: 8+ years of experience with
1.Hands on experience in CICS installations, upgrades, and sound knowledge/experience in SMPE.
2.Experience in troubleshooting application/system issues, performance tuning, security settings and web services configuration. 3.Dump reading using IPCS and providing end to end support for CICS.
4.Must have worked on PTF fixes and RSU maintenance deployments.
5.Expereince required in RDO definitions using DFHCSDUP utility.
6.Expereince required in CICSPLEX and CPSM activities.
7.Experience required in CICS region build and configuring new regions. Must have knowledge on decommissioning of CICS regions.
8.REXX program knowledge is required.
+.Working experience in any banking project is a plus.
10. Knowledge in Coupling facility structures and analysis and zSeries monitoring tools.
11. Ability to analyze SVC dumps and Java Heap dumps.
12. Advanced knowledge of and experience in zSeries parallel sysplex configuration and methodologies.
13. Understanding of z/OS Constructs such as APF, LINKLIST, LPALIB, PARMLIB
Job Expectations:
• Flexibility to work in Morning or Afternoon shifts (IST)
• Communicate/coordinate with global partners/teams.
• On-call support readiness
