RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Installation Expertise:
· Proficiently install and configure alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems in accordance with company standards and Titan Alarm & Fire best practices.
2. Maintenance and Servicing:
· Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of our systems to ensure optimal functionality and regulatory standards.
3. Troubleshooting and Repairs:
· Diagnose technical issues with our systems, employ effective troubleshooting strategies, and execute timely repairs to minimize system downtime.
4. Customer Support:
· Provide comprehensive, guidance, training, and support to customers on the operation and functionality of our systems, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
· Complete accurate and detailed service reports, documentation, and records associated with installation, service calls, maintenance, and repairs.
6. Continuous Learning:
· Stay current with technological advancements, industry trends, and changes in the systems technologies to enhance knowledge and skills.
7. Adjustments:
· Your responsibilities may be adjusted from time to time by your manager. It is up to you to keep track of any changes or adjustments to this current list of responsibilities.
EXPECTATIONS:
1. You are expected to be on time to your 1st scheduled appointment
2. Our goal is one call resolutions, being proactive at mitigating “Go-Backs” is a key trait to being an effective Service Technician
3. Being prepared! Having a fully stocked van of consumables and commonly utilized parts is key to executing your daily schedule. We recommend that you stock up every Monday on parts needed to be efficient for the week ahead.
4. Communication is crucial in your day-to-day operations. It is imperative that you always communicate to our Customer Service Representatives if you are running behind for a particular appointment, you are required to give them a one hour noticed if you are running behind due to outlying factors from a current service call.
5. Calling out sick: Our schedule is planned in advance up to two weeks or more. As a courtesy to our customers and customer service team if you are not going to make it in for your scheduled day you are required to give a minimum of a 2-hour notice. If this notice is not made in that time frame you will not be paid for that sick day.
6. You will be assigned inventory to your company vehicle. This inventory will be your responsibility to manage and keep an accurate record of. Any missing inventory may result in the technician being responsible for covering the cost of lost inventory.
7. Any and all overtime must be approved by the Service Manager.
8. Each Technician employed with Titan Alarm & Fire after being trained through our processes and procedures is required to be on our On-Call rotation. This requires the technician to answer and potentially dispatch to emergency service calls throughout Arizona. On call for each technician begins on Mondays at 8am and ends the following Monday at 8 am. Calls for emergency service come in after office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
