Role: Java Developer
As a Java developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the back-end components of our AR and VR applications, as well as the APIs and databases that support them.
You should be comfortable with Java language, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
Java Developer Responsibilities
Your responsibilities would include:
Design and implement the frontend and backend components of web applications
Develop and maintain APIs and databases for web, AR, and VR applications
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of applications
Troubleshoot and debug issues with web and mobile applications
Build the front-end web applications through appealing visual design
Test software and write test scripts
Write technical documentation
Qualifications Required
You need to have 2+ years of experience as a Java Developer
Experience developing web applications and web APIs
Experience with front-end frameworks (HTML, CSS, React or Angular)
Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience with web servers (Apache), and Cloud (AWS or Azure)
Experience with Mobile app development and/or Kotlin will be a plus
Familiarity with API tools like Apigee and Postman will be a plus
Familiarity with Docker will be a plus
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
