Our customer is an Australian software company that develops products for software developers, project managers, and other software development teams.
Responsibilities
Evaluate a myriad of different technologies (SaaS, open source, custom builds, and hybrids of the preceding) against real world business problems faced by multiple teamsBuild MVP to demonstrate technology in actionDetermine how to best deploy and operationalize selected technologies at scaleBuild out deployment pipelines (CI/CD)Build integrations to SaaS platformsDevelop solutions that extend Atlassian products through marketplace apps, forge plugins or via 2nd/3rd party integrations
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Java DeveloperProficiency in Python and SQLStrong microservice knowledge using Springboot (cloud stack), REST StandardsExpertise in large distributed systems, legacy experience is considered an assetBackground in both agile methodologiesExperience with Automated integration testingCI/CD knowledge and ability to configure the sameExperience with implementing best practices for logging, monitoring & alerting
Nice to have
AWS experienceExperience with Bamboo, Jira & ConfluenceExperience leveraging AWS toolsFamiliarity with Atlassian productsA strong DevOps backgroundKnowledge of Docker
