SHIFT: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position involves working within a team environment and ensuring accurate collation, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products. Responsibilities also include:
Setting-up and organizing kit packing for multiple customers
Assist in overseeing the Kitting team, troubleshooting, setting-up sample kits for approval and ensuring staff are completing the work accurately
Ability to calculate timing for handwork and kitting times for Estimating
Respect and abide by all Health and Safety policies
Report any issues to the Kitting Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
Must have strong computer skills to manage work, in particular knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets to create mail merges, create labels.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is an asset
Must be customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Capable of standing for long durations
Attention to detail and quality consciousness are essential
Ability to read and understand instructions, follow procedures, and work with minimal supervision
Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to Reliability level
