The Opportunity
As Lead Legal, M&A and Transactions you will be responsible for:
Initial Assessment and Strategy- Developing and leading legal strategy for M&A, financing and other transactions of Vedanta.
Legal Insights-Analyze legal implications of various issues and advising various internal stakeholders and management
Deal Structuring- Partnering and collaborating with M&A, treasury, tax and finance teams. Advise on legal and tax-optimized transaction structures & ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
Drafting and Negotiation- Review of various agreements and transactions, like Financing Agreement, SHA, JV, Technical collaboration etc. Drafting and negotiating various transaction documents and agreements in-house
Regulatory and Compliance- Obtain necessary regulatory clearances and filings along with liaising with regulatory authorities. Ensuring 100% compliance with standardized contracts and SOPs
