Financial Leadership & Control
• Lead and oversee the plants finance function, ensuring alignment with overall business and financial objectives.
• Establish, implement, and maintain financial systems, policies, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
Budgeting & Performance Management
• Formulate annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with operational teams.
• Conduct variance analysis to evaluate performance against budget and identify corrective measures for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
Capex & Contract Management
• Review and evaluate Capex proposals, service contracts, and logistics agreements to ensure alignment with business requirements, financial viability, pricing justification, taxation compliance, and budget availability.
• Provide financial oversight and recommendations for strategic investments and vendor engagements.
Working Capital & Cost Management
• Drive initiatives to improve working capital utilization through inventory analysis and optimization.
• Monitor and manage product costing, cost control measures, and plant-level financial efficiencies.
Business Partnership & Decision Support
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement teams to provide financial insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and business cases to support key manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.
Internal Controls & Compliance
• Implement and sustain a strong internal control framework within the plant to ensure financial integrity and compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Chartered Accountant (CA ) or Cost Accountant (ICWA ).
• Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in senior finance leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in product costing, plant finance, and financial planning & analysis.
• Strong exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience in the automotive sector; exposure to electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing will be an added advantage.
