Role: Lead MBD Software Engineer
Department: E/E
Team: System Integration
Responsibilities:
● Develop SW architecture to incorporate vehicle state transitions, user action sequences, BMS controls, powertrain controls etc.
● Integrate different algorithms from different engineering groups ensuring modularity and flexibility based on a given system architecture
● Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to develop and validate critical vehicle functions, sequences and fault handling like mode transition, charging algorithm, BMS MOSFET controls, L1, L2 and L3 protection strategies for voltage, current and temperature etc.
● Create MIL and PIL setups for rapid prototyping of control strategies and validating VCU algorithms.
● Work in tandem with the System Engineering team for evaluating feasibility of new requirements and user interactions.
● Create plant models / digital twins of all ECU's in the electrical system.
Requirements:
● in EEE,ECE or CSE with 3+ years of MBD experience in Automotive industry
● Strong fundamentals in C++, Mathematics and electric powertrain (ESS, motors and power electronics)
● Experience of Automotive software development (ASPICE) and various testing methods (MIL, SIL, PIL, HIL, DIL, fault injection, etc.)
● Expertise in MATLAB. (Primarily stateflow, embedded coder, 3rd party hardware plug-ins
