The Role: Lead Mobile Developer - React Native
Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 11
The Location: Hyderabad/Ahmedabad/Gurgaon, India
The Team: The team is responsible for building a platform that provider of information, benchmark prices, analytics and Essential Intelligence for the energy and commodities market products for S&P Global Commodity Insights.
The team works in a challenging environment that gives ample opportunities to use innovative ideas to solve complex problems.

The Impact: You will be making significant contribution in building solutions for the Mobile applications. The work you do will deliver products to build solutions for S&P Global Commodity Insights customers.

Responsibilities
• Work as a hands-on senior react native mobile developer and development experience in mobile native apps for entire software development lifecycle.
• Design, developer, build, test, and release mobile native application features using React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android in a distributed multitier and service-oriented environment.
• You will design and execute user-facing features for the native app on IOS & Android devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Platform, and other cross-functional groups to drive product vision.
• You will provide technical design, development and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wise critical programs.
• You will identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
• Oversee end-to-end mobile app product delivery with total quality ownership Provide technical leadership to a dedicated team focused on delivering the app Work.
• Explore and prototype new technologies to incorporate into the development effort.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's /Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Mobile application development
• Must have 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React Native development to deliver cross-platform mobile native apps with IOS & Android
• Working experience and exposure to iOS using Swift
• Experience in developing reusable components for mobile native development using ReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML and CSS along with a strong knowledge of React-redux.
• Experience with native app platform capabilities and APIs
• Experience with mobile-oriented DevOps Pipelines.
• Good experience in integrating with REST APIs / GraphQL a plus
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Test- driven development.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work well individually and with a team. Good work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
• Familiar with CI/CD build pipelines using Jenkins and other tools like XCode, Microsoft AppCenter, and Firebase
