Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to define technical scope for global sports properties.
Advocate for developer experience and continually improve it.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Create architectural diagrams and technical specifications for multi-platform product strategies.
Contribute to the design and development of digital projects.
Set up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers at Two Circles.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.
Regular presence in our London office for 2 days a week, with occasional travel to other offices in London and EMEA.
Requirements
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript, and React.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation (unit, integration, contract, and E2E testing).
Knowledge of DevOps culture and cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with Kubernetes is desirable.
Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, or Sentry.
Strong problem-solving skills and a flair for simplicity.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining solutions to diverse audiences and collaborating effectively.
Experience building services for high-traffic systems is desirable.
