We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Node.js Developer with a strong background in AWS to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Architect, develop, test, and deploy robust and efficient backend services that power our applications.
• Ensure the reliability and security of our systems by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Take ownership of projects and drive them from conception to delivery, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality code standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lead Node.js Developer, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and experience with popular frameworks such as Express.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, etc.).
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration with backend services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and lead a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Preferred Skills
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices.
• AWS certification is a plus.
