Job Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

About the Role:

All Coast Painting is looking for experienced and qualified painters to join our team! We work on a variety of residential and commercial projects and need skilled professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes.

As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of painting, from surface preparation to final application, ensuring exceptional results for every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface preparation by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure optimal

paint adhesion.

Repairing imperfections such as cracks, holes, and uneven surfaces using fillers,

sealants, and other materials.

Selecting and mixing paint colours and finishes as per client specifications and

project requirements.

Ensuring proper paint dilution and viscosity to achieve the desired application quality.

Applying paint to surfaces using various techniques, including brushing, rolling, and

spraying.

Achieving an even and consistent coat by paying attention to texture, edges, and

uniform coverage.

Strictly adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while working in elevated and

confined spaces.

Using safety equipment such as harnesses, gloves, masks, and goggles to ensure a

secure working environment.

Protecting surroundings such as furniture, floors, and fixtures from paint splatter by

using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting.

Cleaning up all painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and ensuring

the work area is neat and tidy post-project completion.

Disposing of materials and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental and

workplace safety standards.

Following OH&S regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintaining clear communication with builders, clients, and other team members to

ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality

outcomes.

Maintaining equipment such as sprayers, sanders, and compressors, and promptly

reporting any equipment malfunctions.

Staying updated with new techniques, materials, and industry trends to enhance

skills and deliver innovative solutions.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

In-depth understanding of tools and painting techniques

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 4 years of painting experience (residential & commercial)

Strong spraying skills & ability to complete jobs independently

Certificate III in Painting & Decorating or equivalent trade qualification

Own vehicle & valid driver’s license

Own painting tools & equipment

Ability to work independently & in a team

Strong attention to detail & high-quality craftsmanship

Knowledge of industry trends & best practices
