Job Summary
Lead - Payments - Merchant App
Job Purpose
To lead payments offline acquiring related New Product development initiatives for Bajaj Finance Ltd
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities - • New Product Development Enhance and manage deployments of Offline Acquiring capabilities like QR solutions and acquiring integration • Integrations for Sponsor bank, merchant onboarding, settlement and payouts • Ideate and deliver innovative merchant solutions across mobile and QR • Work on enabling UPI, PPI and Emi card on QR • Owning Regular Monitoring and TechOps KPIs for platform uptime and delivering the required success rates to businesses. • Engaging with business to understand merchant target segment and tailor the offering to suit the requirements • Deploying products to customers of Bajaj Finserv on both mobile app and web platforms. • Regular SCRUM standups with internal cross functional teams like IT, Operations, Customer Service, Compliance, Legal, etc. • Regular engagement with all dependent and onboarded external vendors. • Develop and operate a CI/CD cycle with IT delivery teams for the product • Good understanding and benchmarking of existing and foreseeable trends to improve products • Keeping oneself abreast with latest regulatory changes across different products and ensuring compliance by engaging with different cross functional units and regulatory bodies
Major Challenges - • Co-ordination between multiple teams and external vendors to enable task delivery
Key Decisions / Dimensions - • Project design related decisions • Timeline related • Alternative solution and partners • Adapting industry best practices
Required Qualifications and Experience
a) Qualifications MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum 5-7 years of experience b) Work Experience • Minimum 5-7 years of running products on Acquiring side of Offline Payments and Merchant solutions industry with either banks or non-banks. • Brand EMI program experience is mandatory. • Strong bias for action & driving results in a high-performance environment. • Should have excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. • Exceptionally high motivation levels and needs to be a self-starter. • Experience in business through digital channels preferred.
