We’re looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to join our Technology team in Auckland. This is a key leadership

role responsible for guiding a team of software engineers and overseeing the development, support, and

evolution of critical technology platforms that underpin our business.

Your new role
As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms.
Manage platform roadmaps and backlogs in collaboration with architects and business stakeholders.
Ensure platforms meet business needs while maintaining compliance, security, and operational excellence.
Drive engineering best practices, automation, and innovation across the platform lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Infrastructure.
Manage vendor relationships and leverage external expertise to scale delivery.
Champion DevOps and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders relying on platform services.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing enterprise platforms.
Strong technical background with the ability to make sound architectural decisions.
Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Hands-on experience with .NET and C#, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Microsoft Blazor.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and delivering in complex environments.
A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and building high-performing teams.
Experience with AI/ML initiatives and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
