Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate preschool teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our young learners, providing developmentally appropriate instruction, and supporting their holistic growth and development.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment that promotes students' well-being and development.
• Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and engaging curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Programme (PYP) framework.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to support students' learning, including play-based and inquiry-based learning.
• Foster students' social-emotional development and support their growth in areas such as communication, problem-solving, and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Use ongoing assessment to monitor students' progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about students' progress and development.
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and the IB framework.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of the IB framework or willingness to learn.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
