ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
• Manage the entire product life cycle for working capital products from planning to execution activities, will be responsible for product profitability
• Build WC products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and insights
• Drive a solution set across development teams (Credit, Operations, technology and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
• Work with and help credit counterpart to define product underwriting and release requirements.
• Organize product trainings for launch, expansion and capacity building
• Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments including distribution/sales channels to execute.
IV. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business/Financials
• Manage the design, features and benefits of products, volume forecasting & market share
• To carry out pricing analysis, determine and support distribution channels, design, develop and implement promotional plans for the products.
• To specify market requirements for fundbased and nonfundbased products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to markets
• CAM Preparation for all type of program including surrogate
• Program level scorecard preparation
• Monitoring of loans
• To analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
• To ready and execute the competition and market share strategy for the product line on an ongoing and proactive manner
• Design Internal and External Campaigns suitable for product
Customer (Both Internal & External)
• Communicate with all areas of the company, including (but only) distribution/sales, credit, operations, technology, communication and strategy
• Maintain working relationships with control functions like Audit, Compliance, Risk et al.
• Plan and conduct regular customer and noncustomer visits to gain an insight into customer behavior and product demand.
Internal Process
• Design and draft SOPs and BRDs to ensure efficient processes and technology advancement
• Simplification of existing processes
• Discuss with all stakeholders and fix the process with customer centricity approach
• Work with and credit counterpart to define product underwriting and release required guidelines and processes
Innovation & Learning
• Organize product trainings for launch, expansion and capacity building
• Ensure adherence to training mandays/ mandatory training programs for self
• Forecast product changes requirement basis customer feedback and take appropriate steps
Educational
Qualifications - MBA/PGDM or equivalent/CA
Experience (Years and Core Experience Type) - 8-12 years of experience in product management of Working Capital products in Large Banks and SFBs
• 57 years' experience in branch/regional level Working Capital Sales or Credit with at least 45 year of product management experience
