Lead Python Developer
We are seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join our team at Hidden Brains Infotech.
This is a full-time opportunity that requires 7+ years of experience in leading and mentoring a team of Python developers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality engineering among the development team.
• Own the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable Python-based applications and APIs.
• Guide the team in applying best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and DevOps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and QA to ensure delivery of robust solutions aligned with business goals.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and migrations.
• Oversee and contribute to the development of asynchronous systems using tools such as RabbitMQ.
• Ensure secure and high-performance API design, including token-based authentication and caching strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, especially LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), and explore integration opportunities when applicable.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
Must-Have Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Expertise in designing RESTful APIs with performance, scalability, and security in mind.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, including Shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Proficient in using Git, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows.
• Experience in frontend-backend integrations and knowledge of JavaScript.
Good to Have:
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, especially Large Language Model APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.).
• Exposure to DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD tools.
• Experience with message queues, event-driven systems, and job schedulers.
