What You'll Do
• Test out products and provide reports about any issues or improvements that the product may require.
• Understand the architecture of the product being tested
• Lead the development of well-tested and maintainable python scripts and libraries to test sky products
• Line manages a small team of automation engineers
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Collaborate with other test leads, software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design and automate tests.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of test requirements, development of sprint tasks, estimates and work plans.
• Contribute to planning, design, and implementation of test automation frameworks using best-practice techniques and principles
What You’ll Bring
• Strong Python skills and very good understanding of OOPs concepts
• Excellent SQL skills
• Good networking knowledge (network OSI model)
• Experience of continuous integration/deployment
• Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as Jira, QC etc
• Experience in leading, coaching, mentoring and up-skilling less experienced automation engineers and testers in the team
• Problem solver – Analytical approach, with the ability to make the complex simple.
• Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test Products to find ways to improve them and isolate problems
