Job Description
The individual should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse. The individual should be capable of leading features/system validation, designing and executing manual/automation test cases, debugging issues, and analyzing the software logs. Should have system knowledge of products/systems under development and be capable of guiding other team members.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of QA Engineers and manage their day-to-day activities.
• Develop and implement test strategy for software products.
• Estimate testing effort and develop test schedules.
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality of software products.
• Prepare and manage test data for testing.
• Analyze and report test results and metrics to project stakeholders.
• Actively participate in the software development process to identify and address quality issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Continuously improve and streamline the QA process.
Requirements
• 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Should have experience with both Manual as well as an Automation testing.
• Should have working experience with automation tools like Cypress, Postman.
• Should have working experience with BDD methodologies like Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
• Must be thorough in software testing life cycle and defect management workflow.
• Should have experience working on Agile projects and with tools like Jira, Git, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• The initiative, interested in self-development, responsible for tasks, team player.
• Minimum of a BE Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Good communication skills
