Staff Salesforce Engineer

What Will You Do
• Leading and Architecting the design and development of Salesforce solutions, including customizations, programming, and data migrations.
• Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce projects and initiatives
• Lead, prioritize KTLO / Enhancements track of work items and ensure delivery
• Lead and mentor junior and senior developers in technical and functional areas to ensure our Salesforce solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with our enterprise architecture and best practices.
• Promoting best practices, performing solution and code reviews, and ensuring appropriate design patterns are being followed.
• Work with GTM systems team / RevOps & business stakeholders to define requirements of Salesforce system enhancements. Identify opportunities to modify requirements to utilize application best practices, provide scalability, ensure data hygiene, and increase user adoption.
• Identify technical debts and provide a design to overcome / restructure the implementation without impacting the existing functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and features, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our Salesforce solutions
• Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver best-in-class enhancements of Salesforce / CPQ / Communities / PRM. Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives, and required ceremonies to plan, track, and code development tasks.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce CPQ, API, Flows and other Salesforce development tools.
• Ensure that our Salesforce solutions are secure, reliable and available to our users
• Work within Salesforce customization standards for Administrators and Developers to balance between rapid development and long-term code maintainability.
• Participate in reviewing, debugging, and resolving issues with new or existing code.
• Coordinate post-delivery activities such as hypercare support, delivery documentation, and knowledge transfer to our Enterprise Support team.
• Comfortable building and demonstrating proof of concepts in Salesforce
• Experience defining systems strategy, road-map, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing, testing, driving UAT sessions, deploying solutions using version controls, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions
• Monitor Salesforce performance and identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Writing functional and technical design documents.

Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience implementing SFDC CRM capabilities.
• Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Experience cloud product knowledge
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Data analysis, data governance and logical thinking skills are a must.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce development tools, such as Apex, Triggers, JavaScript, VisualForce, LWC, SOQL, REST API, Bulk API etc.,
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architectures, data models, and best practices.
• Experience with the Life Cycle of Development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging using Metadata API, Version Control, ChangeSet and code coverage
• Proficient with flows, approvals, email to case, entitlements, sandbox configurations and other admin configurations.
• Knowledge of security and governance (profiles, permission sets, data visibility, sharing settings )
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
• Ability to solve problems, high-level software and application issues.
• Ability to lead the team and the project, ensuring delivery within deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work on your own and manage multiple task assignments
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
