Job Title: ICT Managed Service Technician
Location: Bolton
Salary:£28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
CSE Education Systems is looking for a dynamic ICT Managed Service technician to join its team onsite staff at one of our schools in Bolton.
Successful candidates will be exceptional communicators who excel at working within a team and also when working with end users. Successful candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
In this role, you will work closely with the existing staff and end users at the school.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The primary responsibility of the role is to help maintain a high level of support for the companys customers.
You will be expected to undertake tasks such as, but not limited to:
• Responding to end-user requests
• Engaging with the school SLT
• Monitoring, diagnosis and fixing of various ICT System issues
• Doing day-to-day tasks for end users, fixing print issues, changing passwords etc.
• Generating reports for customers
• Handling hardware support requests by arranging replacements or repairs for customers
• Help manage (open, close, update) Service Desk tickets as they are added and be able to prioritise issues and escalate where required
• Working effectively with 3rd line Engineers and Account Management to help resolve customer issues

• Application Deployment
• Desktop Deployment
• Supporting Microsoft Windows 11/10
• Microsoft Servers
• Setting up new staff members and managing passwords
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Office 365
• Experience working with Laptops Devices
• Printer Management
• Networking
• Backup Management
Non-Technically we are looking for:
• Positive outlook and attitude when dealing with end users - even in busy situations
• Previous experience working in the education sector is beneficial
• A great communicator
• A patient and calm temperament
• Good Timekeeping
• A self-motivator
• Can-do attitude
• Someone who can follow instructions and work alone when required
• A problem solver
